Irish Abstract Art born on the shores of Lough Derg
I am Barry Creamer, a Tipperary-based abstract artist. My work draws from the pioneering styles of artists such as Pollock, Warhol, and Basquiat. From Pollock’s drips and splatters to Warhol’s bold pop art and Basquiat’s raw, expressive graffiti, my art is also heavily influenced by the sounds and culture of early 90’s Seattle. All of my pieces are created on the tranquil shores of Lough Derg, Dromineer, Tipperary.

My creations are a reflection of my personal journey, lived experience and influences from Art & Music over the years, my art has evolved to capture both the highs and lows of life.
I specialise in Large Canvas Expressive Abstract work. I use Acrylic and Spray paint primarily but will draw on multi mediums to match the project. My approach to art is every day is a school day and I constantly develop my technique and approach. I am available for private and commercial commission work. Introducing “Two Points” – my latest abstract painting! @davidgilmour new album has had a pretty profound effect on me over this last month. The guitar work is up there with his best Floyd work but his collaboration with his daughter on this album prompted my latest work – “Two Points” The track between two points with Romany’s powerful vocals, the harp and Davids guitar to close the track out is as good as I’ve heard in years.

The rich crimson hues evoke passion, while the interplay of teal and white captures the ebb and flow of water against the rugged landscape.
